The relationship of the mind to the health of the body

There is no separation between the mind and the body, or thinking and motor performance that depends on the human ability to perform physical work and endure hard effort. Hence, to mental works that are more physically comfortable for man,

But on the other hand, these mental works, in addition to the rapid and astonishing development in the media and the daily amount of information that enters the human mind, led to the person feeling mental exhaustion and irregular mental abilities, which is considered one of the most important risk factors for technology in the modern era, [17] ] Because despite all this development that occurred in humanity, man could not find a cure for the disease that afflicts the mind, which is Alzheimer’s disease.

Ways to strengthen mental abilities

Some studies indicate that a decrease in a person's mental and cognitive activity leads to abnormal aging, in addition to increasing the possibility of mental illness such as Alzheimer's disease. Other studies conducted during the past twenty years indicated that it is possible for the human brain to produce (in some parts of it) new neurons and synapses; As when a person learns or understands new things, the brain will respond to these activities and adapt to them, which protects the mind when it gets old.

There are a number of activities that help increase the mental capabilities of a person, regardless of his age, and among these activities:

1- Doing sports activities; As this increases blood flow in all organs of the body, including the brain, as a study indicates that the percentage of tissue density in the brain is lower for those who practice sports activities.

2- Taking up a hobby requires learning new things.

3- Watching programs and reading scientific and useful books continuously.

4- Solve different riddles and puzzles.

5- Playing board games and those that include cards, such as Monopoly.

6- Visiting museums, zoos, and archaeological sites.

7- Entry into educational courses.

8- Getting rid of stress, tension, and depression.
