Vinícius Júnior emerged as the hero for Real Madrid, scoring both goals for the Spanish side. His first goal came against the run of play in the 24th minute, capitalizing on a Toni Kroos through ball. After Bayern Munich took the lead with goals from Leroy Sané and Harry Kane (penalty), Vinícius Júnior calmly converted a penalty in the 83rd minute to secure a draw for his team.

Bayern Munich controlled possession and created numerous scoring opportunities, but failed to convert their dominance into a victory. Real Madrid's defense, despite being under pressure for much of the match, held firm and capitalized on their limited chances.

The 2-2 draw leaves the tie open for both teams heading into the second leg at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on May 8th. Real Madrid will be looking to leverage their home advantage and advance to the final, while Bayern Munich will aim to overcome the away goals deficit and secure their place in the final in London.
